Adaptador de fibra ótica keystone ShiverPeaks LC-LC duplex violeta, modelo 08-10203

The ShiverPeaks LC-LC Duplex fiber optic keystone adapter in violet (model 08-10203) is a compact coupling for joining two LC fiber connectors within keystone-compatible panels, faceplates or patch panels. It accommodates LC duplex terminations for both singlemode and multimode fibers and provides color-coded identification to simplify installation and maintenance in telecom, data center and structured cabling environments.

Advantages

This keystone adapter offers a space-efficient duplex interface that fits standard keystone openings, enabling easy integration into wall plates, patch panels and keystone modules. The LC duplex format ensures reliable alignment of fiber ferrules for low insertion loss and consistent optical performance. The violet color provides clear visual identification for network mapping and fiber management, reducing the chance of connection errors during installation or service.

Suitable for

• Telecommunications racks and patch panels where LC duplex terminations are required
• Data center fiber distribution and cross-connect bays
• Structured cabling in offices, meeting rooms and equipment cabinets
• Environments requiring color-coded fiber identification for easy management

Key specifications

• Connector type: LC duplex interface compatible with keystone mounting
• Fiber type compatibility: singlemode and multimode LC terminations
• Form factor: keystone-style adapter for standard keystone openings
• Color: violet for visual identification
• Coupling: duplex coupling aligning two LC connectors

How to use

Insert the keystone adapter into a compatible keystone opening in a faceplate, patch panel or module until it snaps into place. Connect LC duplex fiber patch cords into each side of the adapter, ensuring proper orientation and dust-free ferrules. For best optical performance, clean connector end faces before mating and verify connections with appropriate testing equipment after installation. To remove, depress the retention tabs and gently pull the adapter from the keystone aperture.

Recommendations

Maintain cleanliness of LC connectors and use dust caps when ports are not in use. Select violet-coded adapters consistently across the installation to support clear fiber labeling and reduce human error during moves, adds or changes.
