Alcatel PW5N-OVAPNM10N

The Alcatel PW5N-OVAPNM10N stands apart from typical branch access points by delivering enterprise-grade Wi-Fi 5 performance in a compact, wall-mountable form factor. Built around the OmniAccess Stellar platform, it brings MU-MIMO and beamforming to high-density client environments where reliable connectivity is non-negotiable. With dual-band concurrent radios and a total aggregate data rate of 1.167 Gbps, this access point ensures smooth video conferencing, VoIP, and cloud application access without the complexity of controller-dependent setups.

Highlights

• Dual-band 802.11ac Wave 2 with 2x2:2 MIMO for up to 867 Mbps on 5 GHz and 300 Mbps on 2.4 GHz
• 802.3af PoE support simplifies installation with a single Ethernet cable for power and data
• Integrated omni-directional antennas with 3.5 dBi (2.4 GHz) and 4.5 dBi (5 GHz) gain for consistent coverage
• WPA3, 802.1X, and captive portal security to protect sensitive business traffic
• Flexible management via OmniAccess Stellar WLAN Controller or standalone mode
• Supports up to 256 concurrent clients, ideal for busy offices, retail, or hospitality

In daily use

Deploy the PW5N-OVAPNM10N in meeting rooms, lobbies, or open-plan workspaces and it blends into the environment while delivering robust wireless coverage. The included wall/ceiling mount kit allows quick installation, and the Gigabit Ethernet uplink ensures no bottleneck between wired and wireless segments. With a maximum power draw of just 12.95W, it runs efficiently on standard PoE switches, reducing cabling costs and deployment time. Beamforming and MU-MIMO work together to maintain stable connections even when dozens of devices are active simultaneously.
