Cabo MiniSAS CBO 9270CMSASCAB8-0030 1 m

MiniSAS Cable CBO 9270CMSASCAB8-0030 1 m is a compact MiniSAS data interconnect designed for short distance, high-speed connections between SAS controllers, storage enclosures and server backplanes. The 1 meter length provides a tidy, low-latency link suited to dense rack environments where reliable signal integrity and minimal cable clutter are required. The cable terminates in MiniSAS connectors compatible with standard SAS ports and supports typical multi-lane SAS configurations used for connecting RAID controllers and storage arrays.

Advantages

This MiniSAS cable offers a short, robust connection that reduces signal degradation and latency compared with longer runs. Its compact form factor helps maintain airflow and organization in server cabinets. The cable is engineered to meet the electrical and physical requirements of SAS interconnects, providing consistent performance for multi-lane data transfers and reliable mating with standard MiniSAS ports.

Suitable for

• Connecting RAID controllers to storage enclosures and JBODs in rack servers
• Linking backplanes to SAS host bus adapters in blade and tower servers
• Short-distance interconnects inside storage cabinets and chassis
• High-density cabling scenarios where space and airflow are limited

Key specifications

• Cable type: MiniSAS (multi-lane SAS) copper interconnect
• Length: 1 meter
• Connector compatibility: standard MiniSAS ports for SAS controllers and enclosure ports
• Designed for high-speed SAS data transfers and multi-lane signaling
• Form factor: compact, low-profile cable for dense rack installations

How to use

Route the 1 m MiniSAS cable between the SAS controller port and the corresponding enclosure or backplane port, aligning the connector orientation before insertion. Insert the connectors firmly until they engage and confirm the connection status on the host and enclosure. Avoid tight bends and excessive strain on the cable; maintain recommended bend radius for copper MiniSAS leads. For removal, depress any retention mechanism if present and withdraw the connector straight out to prevent connector damage.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use this MiniSAS cable for connections within the same rack or adjacent racks to minimize signal loss. Keep cable length as short as practical, secure cables to avoid pull or movement, and verify compatibility with your SAS controller and enclosure ports prior to installation.
