Botas de caminhada Salomon X Ultra 5 Mid GORE-TEX - Preto/Asphalt/Castlerock - UK 8.5 (EU 42 2/3)

Typical mid-cut boots trade agility for ankle support, but the Salomon X Ultra 5 Mid GORE-TEX flips that compromise on its head. Built on the legendary X Ultra lineage, this boot pairs a protective mid-cut collar with a running-shoe-like ride, so you can move fast over technical terrain without feeling weighed down. The GORE-TEX membrane seals out water while letting sweat escape, and the All Terrain Contagrip® outsole bites confidently into wet rock, mud, and loose gravel. A reinforced toe cap and Advanced Chassis™ keep you stable on uneven ground, while the EnergyCell™ midsole and OrthoLite® diecut sockliner deliver all-day comfort. From ridgelines to rainy forest trails, this boot is engineered to keep you sure-footed and quick.

Highlights

• GORE-TEX waterproof/breathable membrane for all-weather protection
• All Terrain Contagrip® outsole for superior traction on mixed surfaces
• Advanced Chassis™ and mid-cut design for stable, agile support
• EnergyCell™ midsole and OrthoLite® diecut sockliner for lasting comfort
• Durable PU-coated leather and textile upper with protective toe cap

In daily use

From the first step, the X Ultra 5 Mid feels broken-in but supportive. The regular lacing system locks the midfoot securely, while the padded collar and gusseted tongue keep debris out. The 11 mm heel-to-toe drop encourages a natural stride, and the 5 mm lug depth bites into soft ground without feeling overly aggressive on hardpack. At around 440 g per shoe (UK 8.5), it's light enough for fast hikes yet robust enough for demanding trails. The standard fit accommodates most foot shapes, and the stable foot support level inspires confidence on technical terrain.
