Broca de núcleo diamantada Bosch Standard para betão, broca de núcleo para betão, 62 mm

Diamond core drill bit Bosch Standard for Concrete, 62 mm diameter, is designed for core cutting in reinforced and plain concrete. The bit features a diamond-segmented cutting rim that delivers controlled penetration and efficient material removal for through-holes, penetrations and concrete sampling. It is engineered for use with compatible core drilling rigs and handheld drills when fitted with appropriate adapters, and can be used in wet or dry drilling arrangements depending on the drilling equipment and site conditions.

Advantages

The diamond-segmented rim provides durable cutting performance and consistent hole quality in both reinforced and non-reinforced concrete. The 62 mm diameter offers a standard size for plumbing, electrical and HVAC penetrations, enabling accurate, round openings with minimal chipping when used correctly. The bit’s construction supports wet drilling for improved cooling and dust suppression, and it also performs in dry applications when the drill and dust control measures are suitable. Compatibility with common core drilling rigs and appropriate adapters for handheld drills simplifies integration into existing toolsets.

How to use

Select a suitable drilling rig or handheld drill with the correct adapter and mounting for the 62 mm core bit. Secure the workpiece or stabilize the drill rig to prevent movement. If wet drilling, ensure a reliable water supply to the bit to maintain cooling and remove slurry; if dry drilling, use appropriate dust extraction and intermittent operation to avoid overheating. Start drilling at low speed to establish the pilot groove, then increase speed according to the drill and rig manufacturer’s guidance. Apply steady axial pressure without forcing the bit; withdraw periodically when dry drilling to clear debris. After completing the hole, stop the drill before removing the bit and clean both the bit and the drilled opening.

Recommendations

Use proper personal protective equipment, including eye protection, respiratory protection when dry drilling, gloves and hearing protection. For prolonged life and optimal performance, prefer wet drilling where feasible, verify the adapter and mount are compatible with the core bit and machine, and follow the drill and rig manufacturer’s recommended speeds, feeds and cooling methods.
