Cabo coaxial Extralink U.FL para RP-SMA, 25 cm, de baixa perda

Coaxial adapter cable Extralink U.FL to RP-SMA, 25 cm, low-loss is a short RF patch cable designed to connect miniaturized wireless modules with U.FL (female) board sockets to external RP‑SMA antennas or pigtails. With a 25 cm length and low-loss construction, the cable minimizes signal attenuation in short runs and is suitable for test benches, device upgrades and embedded Wi‑Fi/Bluetooth solutions where a reliable external antenna connection is required.

Advantages

The cable combines a compact U.FL termination with a robust RP‑SMA male connector, offering straightforward mating with standard RP‑SMA antenna sockets. Its low-loss coax design reduces insertion loss compared with generic jumper leads, preserving signal strength over the 25 cm length. The flexible jacket and slim profile make routing inside enclosures or test setups easier while maintaining stable RF performance.

Suitable for

• Connecting embedded Wi‑Fi or Bluetooth modules to external RP‑SMA antennas
• Router or wireless device upgrades where external antenna access is needed
• Lab measurements, prototyping and RF testing of small wireless boards
• Short-run connections inside enclosures with limited space

Key specifications

• Connectors: U.FL (female) to RP‑SMA (male)
• Cable length: 25 cm
• Construction: low-loss coaxial cable for reduced attenuation
• Impedance: 50 ohm characteristic impedance
• Jacket: flexible outer sheath for easy routing

How to use

Firmly press the U.FL connector onto the module’s U.FL board socket until it clicks into place, taking care to align the connector to avoid damaging the board contact. Screw the RP‑SMA male connector to the external antenna or pigtail until hand-tight; avoid over-tightening with tools to prevent connector damage. Route the cable to minimize sharp bends and keep it clear of high‑power traces or heat sources. For temporary test setups, verify connection firmness and RF performance before finalizing placement.

Recommendations

To preserve RF performance and connector lifespan, avoid frequent disconnects at the U.FL end where possible and handle the small U.FL plug gently. Keep cable bends gentle (recommended bend radius greater than the cable diameter) and secure the cable inside enclosures to prevent strain on board sockets. Use the cable for short runs as intended; for longer distances, select appropriately rated low-loss coaxial cable with compatible connectors.
