Câmara de vigilância IP dome Foscam SD8P 8 MP, 4K 3840 x 2160, zoom ótico 4x, PTZ, IR 50 m, Wi-Fi, MicroSD até 256 GB

Foscam SD8P is an 8 MP IP dome surveillance camera offering up to 4K (3840×2160) resolution and 4x optical zoom. Designed for outdoor wall mounting, the camera supports PTZ control with 355° pan and 90° tilt, night vision up to 50 m using IR LEDs, two‑way audio with built‑in microphone and speaker, and local storage on MicroSD cards up to 256 GB. It connects via Ethernet or Wi‑Fi (802.11g) and is powered by 12 V DC with maximum consumption of 20 W.

Advantages

The camera combines high-resolution 4K imaging with a motorized PTZ mechanism and 4x optical zoom for flexible monitoring of large areas. Built-in IR illumination and a low-light capable CMOS sensor enable continuous surveillance in darkness, while two-way audio allows real-time communication. Dual network options (Ethernet and Wi‑Fi) plus P2P remote access and motion-triggered e-mail alerts provide convenient connectivity and event notification. The device is rated for outdoor use and features waterproof protection.

Suitable for

• Outdoor perimeter and property surveillance
• Monitoring parking lots, entrances, and building façades
• Remote site observation with motion alerts
• Areas requiring two-way communication (entrances, gates)

How to use

Mount the dome camera on a suitable outdoor wall surface using appropriate fixings and ensure the unit is positioned for the required field of view. Connect the camera to a 12 V DC power supply (max 20 W) and choose Ethernet or configure Wi‑Fi (802.11g) for network access. Insert a MicroSD card (up to 256 GB) if local recording is required. Use the camera's PTZ controls to set pan, tilt and optical zoom positions and configure motion detection and e‑mail alert settings through the device interface or companion app. For remote viewing, enable P2P access and ensure required network protocols (RTSP/SMTP/FTP, etc.) are permitted on your network.

Recommendations

Install the camera at a height and angle that minimize obstructions and glare. For reliable night-time performance, keep the IR LEDs unobstructed. Use a stable 12 V DC power source and secure network credentials; regularly check firmware updates and test motion alerts and two‑way audio to confirm proper operation.
