Colimador laser GSO DO-GSO ID-02958 OEM para alinhamento ótico de telescópios

GSO DO-GSO ID-02958 OEM laser collimator is a compact alignment tool for telescope optics that provides a stable visible laser reference beam to assist in adjusting primary and secondary mirrors. Intended for quick on-site collimation, the device speeds up the process of bringing optical axes into alignment so that telescopes deliver sharper, more consistent images. The unit is compatible with a range of amateur and semi-professional reflectors and catadioptric instruments where visual laser collimation is applicable.

Advantages

The collimator offers a straightforward single-beam laser output that simplifies centring and tilt adjustments without requiring complex mechanical adapters. Its compact form factor and low power consumption make it convenient for field use and storage. The design produces a clear reference point that reduces subjective judgement during alignment and shortens the time needed to achieve precise mirror positioning.

Suitable for

• Aligning primary and secondary mirrors in Newtonian reflectors
• Initial alignment checks on Schmidt–Cassegrain and Maksutov–Cassegrain telescopes
• Routine maintenance and quick collimation before observing sessions
• Amateur astronomers and semi-professional users requiring fast visual collimation

Key specifications

• Compact handheld form factor suitable for focuser insertion or adapter mounting
• Visible laser output for easy centring and tilt verification
• Low power consumption compatible with battery operation
• Simple single-beam alignment method for primary and secondary mirror adjustment
• Suitable for a range of reflector and catadioptric telescope types used by amateurs and semi-pro users

How to use

Insert the laser collimator into the focuser or relevant adapter and secure it so the device is stable and aligned with the telescope’s mechanical axis. Project the laser beam onto the primary mirror and adjust the secondary mirror and tilt until the returned beam aligns with the centre reference on the collimator. Make incremental adjustments and recheck the beam position until the optical axis is correctly aligned. Perform a final verification by observing a star or using a Cheshire eyepiece if available.

Recommendations

Use the collimator in a shaded or dim environment to clearly see the laser spot. Avoid direct eye exposure to the laser beam and follow basic laser safety precautions. If the telescope has an adjustable focuser or adapters, ensure the collimator fits securely to prevent rotational or axial movement during alignment.
