Corta-universal WEDO Catta com lâmina de cerâmica, caixa leve em plástico

WEDO Catta utility cutter with a ceramic blade and lightweight plastic housing is designed for routine household and office cutting tasks. The compact design provides precise control for opening boxes, cutting tape, trimming paper and cardboard, and small craft projects. The ceramic blade resists corrosion and maintains edge retention longer than standard steel blades, while the plastic body keeps the tool light and suitable for convenient handling and storage.

Advantages

The ceramic blade delivers long-lasting sharpness and corrosion resistance, reducing the need for frequent blade changes. The lightweight plastic housing offers ergonomic handling and easy manoeuvrability, helping to achieve accurate cuts with minimal effort. The compact size improves storage options and portability, and the low-maintenance construction makes the cutter practical for everyday use.

Suitable for

• Opening and cutting cardboard boxes and packaging
• Trimming paper, photographs and posters
• Light craft and hobby work such as cutting foam board or thin plastic sheets
• Cutting tape, string and other common household materials

Key specifications

• Blade material: ceramic for improved edge retention and corrosion resistance
• Housing material: lightweight plastic for comfortable handling
• Form factor: compact, handheld utility cutter suitable for one-handed use
• Typical uses: general household and office cutting tasks, light crafts

How to use

Hold the WEDO Catta cutter by the plastic housing with a firm but relaxed grip. Extend the blade to the appropriate length for the task and position the blade at a shallow angle relative to the cutting surface for controlled slicing. Apply steady, even pressure and move the blade smoothly through the material. Retract the blade or secure it in the closed position when not in use. Replace the blade according to wear or when cutting performance declines.

Recommendations

Use the cutter on stable surfaces and avoid excessive force to prevent chipping of the ceramic blade. For thicker or denser materials, perform multiple light passes rather than a single heavy cut. Store the tool with the blade retracted and out of reach of children. Dispose of worn blades according to local safety and recycling guidelines.
