The 3M GT700000455 Type 5/6 disposable protective suit in size XL, orange, provides full-body coverage designed for protection against hazardous airborne particulates and light liquid splashes. This Type 5/6 protective suit balances particulate protection with splash resistance in a lightweight, single-use format. Elasticated hood, cuffs and ankles improve the garment seal at common entry points, while the bright orange color enhances visibility in work environments. How to use

Select the correct size to ensure adequate coverage and mobility. Put on the coverall by stepping into the legs first, then pulling the suit up and inserting your arms into the sleeves before placing the hood over your head. Ensure elasticated cuffs and ankles sit outside glove and footwear cuffs where practical to reduce ingress. After use, follow your workplace procedures for doffing contaminated PPE, removing the suit carefully to avoid contact with the outer surface, and dispose of it according to local regulations for contaminated waste.

Recommendations

Use this disposable Type 5/6 suit where airborne particulates and light splashes are the primary hazards; it is not suitable for prolonged, high-pressure liquid exposure, concentrated chemical handling, or situations requiring respiratory protection beyond standard practice. Combine with appropriate gloves, eye protection and respiratory equipment when task risk assessments indicate additional barriers are necessary.
