Fonte de alimentação de laboratório Voltcraft CPPS-160-42 0,02–42 V DC, 0,01–10 A

Voltcraft CPPS-160-42 is a laboratory DC power supply with an adjustable output range from 0.02 to 42 V and 0.01 to 10 A. It is intended for bench testing, electronics development and repair, offering precise voltage and current control for powering circuits, components and prototypes. The unit’s compact form factor and clear front-panel controls enable accurate setting and a stable output suitable for measurement and diagnostic tasks.

Advantages

The power supply provides fine resolution and stable regulation across its voltage and current ranges, allowing repeatable results in testing and development. Its compact footprint preserves workspace while front-panel knobs and a clear display make adjustments intuitive. Built-in protections ensure safe operation when experimenting with sensitive circuits, and the wide output span supports both low-voltage logic and higher-voltage analogue applications.

Suitable for

• Electronic circuit prototyping and breadboard testing
• Bench repair and component troubleshooting
• Powering microcontroller and sensor modules during development
• Laboratory measurements, calibration and diagnostics

Key specifications

• Output voltage range: 0.02–42 V DC
• Output current range: 0.01–10 A
• Continuous adjustable voltage and current control
• Clear front-panel controls and numeric display for setpoints
• Compact benchtop design suitable for laboratory workspaces
• Protection features for safe operation with sensitive electronics

How to use

Connect the laboratory power supply to the AC mains according to local safety requirements, then attach the output leads to the device or circuit under test observing polarity. Use the front-panel controls to set the desired voltage and current limits, monitoring the display to confirm output values. Start with conservative current limits when powering unknown circuits and adjust the voltage gradually while observing circuit behaviour. Turn off the output or disconnect leads before making wiring changes.

Recommendations

For reliable measurements, allow the unit to warm up briefly after power-up and verify settings before connecting sensitive components. Use short, low-resistance leads and secure connections to minimise voltage drop. When testing unknown or faulty circuits, set a current limit to protect both the supply and the device under test.
