Lâmina de serra para metal KWB EASY-CUT 188100 HSS bimetal

KWB EASY-CUT 188100 HSS Bi-Metal is a metal saw blade engineered for efficient cutting of a wide range of metallic materials. The design pairs a high-speed steel cutting edge with a flexible spring steel backing, providing a balance of hardness at the tooth line and toughness in the blade body. This construction reduces the risk of tooth breakage and extends service life under intermittent and continuous cutting loads.

Advantages

The bi-metal HSS edge offers high wear resistance and retains sharpness longer than simple carbon blades, while the spring steel core improves bend resistance and durability. The welded joint between cutting edge and body provides stable tooth geometry and consistent cutting performance. The design is suitable for prolonged use and resists chipping when cutting through mixed or abrasive metal sections.

How to use

Install the blade according to your saw manufacturer's instructions, ensuring correct orientation of the teeth and secure mounting. Use appropriate feed pressure and maintain a steady cutting speed to allow the HSS teeth to cut efficiently without overheating. When cutting thicker or harder metals, consider using cutting lubricant or coolant to extend blade life and improve chip removal. Inspect the blade regularly for wear or damage and replace it when tooth geometry is compromised.

Recommendations

Use safety equipment such as eye protection and gloves, and match blade size and tooth pitch to the material and saw type for optimal results. Avoid excessive lateral force or twisting during cuts to prevent premature wear or blade damage.
