Lixadeira manual KWB 484800 madeira cortiça 60mm x 40mm x 100mm

The KWB 484800 hand sander combines a wooden body with a natural cork surface to provide a classic, compact tool for manual sanding. Measuring 60 mm × 40 mm × 100 mm, this hand sander is intended for finishing and shaping small areas and edges, and it accepts all common types of sandpaper.

Advantages

The cork surface conforms slightly to contours for even sanding and reduces the risk of gouging soft materials. The wooden core gives the block sufficient rigidity for controlled pressure, while the compact dimensions and ergonomic shape support comfortable one-handed use during detail work.

How to use

Attach the appropriate grit of sandpaper to the cork surface, ensuring it is cut to size and held securely. Hold the block by the wooden body and move it evenly across the workpiece using light to moderate pressure, following the grain on wood where applicable. Replace sandpaper as soon as it becomes clogged or worn to maintain consistent results.

Recommendations

Use progressively finer grits for a smooth finish and avoid excessive pressure on delicate veneers or thin sections. Store the cork sander in a dry place to preserve the cork surface.
