Mala Carrera RC 20070460

The Carrera RC 20070460 Case is a purpose-built aluminium transport and storage case for Carrera slot cars and 1:32 scale model vehicles. Finished in grey with a Carrera logo on the front, the case measures 36.5 x 33.0 x 8.5 cm and holds up to eight cars in individual compartments. The interior, including the lid, is lined with shock-absorbing material to protect models from impact, dust and movement during transport or storage. Quick snap locks and a carrying handle provide practical portability and secure closure.

Advantages

The aluminium construction offers a durable, lightweight shell that resists deformation and shields models from external impacts. Individual compartments and soft lining prevent contact between vehicles and minimise the risk of scratches. Snap locks allow fast closing and opening while the carrying handle makes handling straightforward for transport. The compact footprint and organised layout help keep a collection accessible and tidy.

Suitable for

• Storage and transport of Carrera slot cars and 1:32 scale model vehicles
• Collectors who need organised, dust-free storage
• Safe transport to events, races or meetings
• Protecting models from impacts and scratches during movement

Key specifications

• Material: aluminium exterior with shock-absorbing interior lining
• Colour: grey with Carrera branding on the front
• Capacity: holds up to eight 1:32 scale cars in separate compartments
• Size (approx.): 36.5 x 33.0 x 8.5 cm
• Closure: quick snap locks
• Carry: integrated carrying handle for transport

How to use

Place each 1:32 scale vehicle into its own compartment, ensuring wheels and bodywork sit correctly on the shock-absorbing lining. Close the lid and fasten both snap locks for secure transport. Use the handle to carry the case; for longer journeys, verify the locks remain fully engaged. Store the case in a dry environment to avoid corrosion of the aluminium shell and maintain the integrity of the interior lining.

Recommendations

For best preservation, clean cars gently before storing to remove dust and loose debris. Avoid overloading compartments with larger-than-intended models and keep the case away from prolonged moisture or direct heat sources. Regularly inspect the lining and locks for wear and replace if cushioning or closure security is compromised.
