SEVERIN Newspresa KA 5997 is a semi-automatic espresso machine designed for domestic use and small offices. The compact unit combines a 1 L removable water tank with a stainless-steel portafilter and a thermoblock heating system for fast warm-up. It accepts ground coffee and delivers espresso into a cup reservoir; the machine’s exterior mixes black, brushed steel and chrome finishes for a compact countertop presence.

Advantages

The machine’s semi-automatic operation gives the user manual control over extraction while the built-in thermoblock provides rapid heating, reducing waiting time between preparations. A high-pressure pump supports proper extraction for crema development with ground coffee, and a swivel milk frothing nozzle lets you prepare milk-based drinks as well as dispense hot water for other beverages. The removable 1 L water tank simplifies refilling and cleaning, and the compact weight and footprint make the unit suitable for limited counter space.

Suitable for

• Preparing single espressos and short black coffees
• Making cappuccino and latte macchiato using the milk frothing nozzle
• Home kitchens, small offices, and compact countertops
• Users who prefer ground coffee and manual extraction control
