Key specifications

• Power: 90 W electric motor
• Type of machine: Overlock (serger) function for edge finishing
• Dimensions (W×D×H): 425 mm × 350 mm × 340 mm
• Colour: White
• Power supply: Mains electric

How to use

Place the JATA OL902 on a stable, level surface and connect to a suitable mains outlet. Thread the machine according to the colour-coded or numbered thread paths indicated on the unit or in the user manual, using appropriate threads for the fabric type. Adjust stitch length and differential feed as needed for the material being worked on, and test on a scrap of the same fabric to confirm tension and stitch formation. Guide the fabric steadily while the machine trims and overcasts the edge; avoid pulling the fabric to prevent distorted seams. Regular cleaning of the knife and looper areas will help maintain stitch quality.

Recommendations

Use compatible threads and suitable needles for the fabric weight, perform a test seam before each project, and keep the cutting blade clear of lint. For optimal results on delicate knits, reduce differential feed and use stretch-compatible needles; for heavy woven fabrics, select heavier thread and appropriate needle size.
