The KWB 497007 mixing paddle (400 mm) is a stainless steel tool designed to stir paints, varnishes and similar materials in containers ranging from 1 to 15 kg. It has a 70 mm diameter basket with a special stirring geometry for improved and faster mixing and a hexagonal shank to ensure a firm grip in a drill chuck. The paddle is intended for use with power drills of at least 500 W and is not suitable for liquids with flashpoints below 21°C.

How to use

Install the hexagonal shank firmly into the drill chuck and tighten the chuck according to the drill manufacturer’s instructions. Place the paddle basket into the material and run the drill at a moderate speed to avoid splashing; gradually increase speed if needed to achieve a uniform mix. Move the paddle up and down gently to ensure full integration of pigments and additives. After mixing, run the drill briefly in clean water (or appropriate solvent for the material) to remove residue, then dry and store the paddle to prevent corrosion or contamination.

Recommendations

Use with drills rated 500 W or more and avoid mixing highly flammable liquids or solvents with flashpoints below 21°C. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment such as gloves and eye protection when mixing chemicals and ensure adequate ventilation.
