Mochila desportiva Deuter Updays 20 preto poliamida 490mm altura

The Deuter Updays 20 Black is a sports backpack constructed from durable polyamide with dimensions of 280mm width, 190mm depth and 490mm height. Weighing just 670 g, this ultra-lightweight pack is designed for speed ski touring and active outdoor use. It features Deuter Lite Comfort ergonomics with a breathable foam back pad, ergonomic shoulder straps and hip fins, plus a detachable sternum strap to stabilize the load. The pack is PFAS-free and produced as a climate neutral product.

Advantages

Lightweight construction and ergonomic shaping reduce fatigue during long approaches while maintaining close, stable contact with the body to avoid wobble. The removable foam back pad improves ventilation and comfort when carrying the pack for extended periods. Integrated quick-fix diagonal ski attachment with a sliding loop and bungee cord enables fast, secure transport of skis without additional accessories. The bottom-access compartment provides separate storage for skins or crampons for rapid retrieval without removing the pack.

Suitable for

• Speed ski touring and ski approaches
• Short alpine climbs and mixed snow routes
• Day hikes and fast-and-light excursions in snowy terrain
• Mountaineering where low weight and quick equipment access are required

How to use

Adjust shoulder straps, hip fins and sternum strap to achieve a snug fit and reduce load movement. Use the quick-fix diagonal ski attachment by threading the sliding loop around the ski ends and securing the bungee cord around the tips, attaching it to the shoulder strap hook. Store skins, crampons or other technical equipment in the bottom-access compartment to reach them quickly without removing the pack. Remove the foam back pad when washing the pack or when you prefer increased ventilation on warm approaches.

Recommendations

For ski touring, keep heavier items close to the back and use the hip fins to transfer weight to the hips. Regularly check the bungee cord and sliding loop for wear before ski carries. Because the pack is PFAS-free, avoid prolonged immersion in heavily contaminated water and follow manufacturer care instructions to preserve fabric performance and water resistance.
