• Sim racing enthusiasts seeking dedicated paddle controls
• Racing cockpit setups with Gen6 GT-style mounting points
• Users aiming to improve shifting precision and responsiveness
• Training or practice sessions where manual gear input is required

Key specifications

• Configuration: double paddle (two separate paddles for upshift and downshift)
• Compatibility: designed for systems accepting Gen6 GT-style mounts
• Primary use: gear shifting control for racing simulators
• Form factor: compact paddle assembly intended for attachment to wheels or cockpits

How to use

Mount the Ascher Racing Gen6 GT double paddle to a compatible wheel or cockpit using the Gen6 GT-style attachment points. Connect any necessary wiring or interfaces according to the wheel or wheelbase manufacturer's instructions so the paddles register as shift inputs in your simulator software. Configure input mapping within your simulator or control software to assign upshift and downshift functions to the respective paddles. Test the paddles in a controlled environment to verify responsiveness and adjust sensitivity or debounce settings in software if available.

Recommendations

Use the paddle shifter with supported wheels and cockpits that explicitly accept Gen6 GT-style mounts. Before regular use, verify secure mounting and correct input mapping to avoid missed or accidental shifts. If your simulator or wheelbase offers input filtering or debounce settings, adjust them to match your preferred shifting feel.
