The EK-Quantum P Series Surface radiator with a 48mm thickness is designed for quiet operation and high cooling performance across a wide fan speed range. It includes four G1/4" threaded ports plus a fifth G1/4" port in the end-tank for easy draining and air bleeding. Sixteen 2mm copper tubes ensure unobstructed coolant flow, while non-louvered copper fins with 18 FPI balance thermal transfer and airflow resistance. The radiator supports push/pull fan configurations and is compatible with standard 120mm fans (25mm thickness) using the supplied screws.

Advantages

The Surface P radiator improves on previous designs with an optimized core and enhanced fin structure, offering up to 10% better core-to-core performance compared with the CoolStream PE. Sturdy extruded aluminum end caps, stainless-steel side plates with semi-gloss black paint, and fins with a high-conductivity matte black coating provide durability and a premium finish. Modular multiport end caps offer flexible tubing routing and an additional port for air bleeding. Low internal flow restriction allows multiple radiators on a single pump and supports low-speed fan operation for reduced noise.

How to use

Mount the radiator using the supplied M4 screws: use the 30 mm screws to attach 25 mm thick 120 mm fans and the 5 mm screws to secure the radiator to the case. Configure fan orientation for push, pull, or push/pull setups according to cooling needs. Install tubing using the G1/4" ports and use the dedicated end-tank port to bleed air or drain the loop. Follow standard liquid-cooling assembly practices and prefer sealed-edge frame fans for optimal performance.

Recommendations

Use EK or similar sealed-edge 120 mm fans and, if adding multiple radiators, a pump such as D5 or DDC to maintain adequate flow. When replacing screws, ensure M4 specification is kept; the core design tolerates accidental use of longer screws without damaging structural integrity, but using the supplied screws is recommended.
