How to use

Place the Imperial DABMAN i170 on a stable surface and extend or connect the external antenna if available for improved reception. Power the unit using the supplied adapter or a compatible USB power source when using USB-A for charging/playback. Use the display and front controls to select DAB+ or FM mode, scan for stations and save presets. Adjust sound settings with the equalizer to suit your listening preference and connect headphones via the 3.5 mm jack for private listening.

Recommendations

For best reception, locate the radio near a window or attach the external antenna. When using portable power sources, ensure the USB supply provides stable output. Use the equalizer presets to match different music genres and reduce display brightness in dark environments to save energy and reduce glare.
