Rothenberger 70244 Chave de corrente para tubos n.º 4, 50-115 mm de abertura, 600 mm de corrente, aço forjado

Gripping and turning large pipes and fittings can be a struggle with standard wrenches, especially in tight spaces or on smooth, round surfaces. The Rothenberger 70244 Chain Pipe Wrench No. 4 solves this by using a self-clamping chain that wraps around the workpiece, providing a secure, non-slip grip without damaging the surface. Ideal for plumbers, pipefitters, and maintenance crews working on heavy-duty piping systems, this tool delivers the leverage and durability needed for stubborn joints and large diameters.

Who is it for

This chain pipe wrench is built for professionals in plumbing, industrial maintenance, and construction who regularly work with pipes from 50 to 115 mm (2 to 4 inches) in diameter. It is particularly useful in confined areas where a traditional pipe wrench cannot fit, or when working with polished, thin-walled, or plastic pipes that require a gentler yet firm grip.

Main features

• Self-clamping double jaw chain design for a secure, ratcheting grip on round and irregular shapes.
• Forged steel body and hardened steel chain for exceptional strength and long service life.
• Replaceable chain extends tool life and reduces long-term costs.
• Powder-coated red finish resists corrosion and improves visibility on the job site.
• Robust, ergonomic handle provides comfortable leverage during heavy use.
• Ratcheting action allows working in tight spaces without removing the tool.

Tips

To maximize the life of your chain pipe wrench, keep the chain clean and lightly lubricated. Always position the chain so that the pulling force tightens it further around the pipe. When working on soft or finished surfaces, consider using a protective sleeve over the chain to prevent marking. Store the wrench in a dry place to prevent corrosion of the chain and body.
