SHIVERPEAKS BS08-41084-4 Cabo de rede Cat8.1 F/FTP, 15 m, vermelho

Data centers and server rooms demand cabling that can keep pace with 25/40 Gigabit Ethernet and beyond. The SHIVERPEAKS BS08-41084-4 is a 15-metre Cat8.1 patch cable built for exactly that: high-density 19" rack environments, switch-to-server links, and backbone connections where headroom matters. Its red PVC jacket makes port identification fast during maintenance or MAC work.

Key specifications

• Length: 15 m
• Category: Cat8.1 (backward compatible with Cat6a, Cat6, Cat5e, Cat5)
• Shielding: F/FTP (foiled twisted pairs plus overall foil)
• Conductor: 22 AWG stranded OFC copper, gold-plated RJ45 contacts
• Performance: 40 Gbps up to 30 m, 2000 MHz bandwidth
• PoE support: PoE, PoE+, PoE++ (4PPoE)
• Jacket: PVC, red
• Compliance: RoHS

Why choose it

Cat8.1 is the highest-performing copper cabling standard for data centres, and this cable delivers the full 2 GHz bandwidth needed for 25GBASE-T and 40GBASE-T over distances up to 30 metres. The F/FTP construction virtually eliminates alien crosstalk in dense bundles, while 22 AWG stranded conductors keep the cable flexible enough for tight rack routing. Gold-plated contacts resist corrosion and maintain signal integrity over thousands of mating cycles.

Ideal use cases

• Top-of-rack switch to server connections in 25G/40G networks
• High-speed backbone links between distribution switches
• Data centre structured cabling where future-proofing is required
• PoE++ device connections (pan-tilt-zoom cameras, access points, digital signage)

Good to know

The red jacket is not just cosmetic—it helps identify critical links or separate VLANs visually. The cable is fully backward compatible, so it can be used in existing 1G/10G networks today and support faster equipment later without recabling. Each cable is individually tested for performance and comes with a lifetime warranty from SHIVERPEAKS.
