Vedante de porta inferior Tesa 05403-102, fita transparente autoadesiva, comprimento 1 m

Tesa 05403-102 is a self-adhesive transparent door bottom seal supplied in a 1 metre length. Designed for attachment to the lower edge of interior doors, the seal reduces drafts, dust ingress and noise transfer while contributing to improved thermal insulation and more consistent room temperatures. The transparent finish preserves the door appearance and the adhesive backing enables a tool-free installation on doors with a flat threshold.

Advantages

The transparent strip is self-adhesive for quick peel-and-stick mounting without drilling or screws. Its low-profile design maintains the door aesthetic while providing an effective barrier against drafts and airborne dust. The product is suitable for standard interior doors and helps reduce sound transmission at the door bottom. Being supplied in a one-metre length, it can be trimmed to size to match specific door widths.

Suitable for

• Sealing gaps at the bottom of interior doors in homes and offices
• Reducing drafts and improving thermal comfort
• Minimising dust entry and light airflow under doors
• Lowering noise transfer between adjacent rooms

Key specifications

• Material: transparent sealing strip with adhesive backing
• Length: 1 metre (can be trimmed to fit)
• Finish: transparent / clear
• Mounting method: peel-and-stick self-adhesive
• Recommended application: interior door bottom edge with flat threshold

How to use

Measure the door width and trim the transparent seal to the required length with a sharp cutter or scissors. Clean and dry the lower door edge thoroughly to ensure adhesion, removing dust, grease and loose paint. Peel off the protective liner from the adhesive backing, align the strip with the door bottom edge and press firmly along the length to secure adhesion. Allow a short setting time before subjecting the seal to frequent door movement.

Recommendations

For best results, apply the seal at room temperature on a clean, non-porous surface. Avoid installation on heavily irregular or curved thresholds; the product is intended for flat door bottoms. If heavy soiling or old adhesive residue is present, first clean with a mild solvent suitable for the door finish and ensure complete drying before applying the strip.
