Wild Country Offset Zero 0.5/0.75 Dispositivo de Escalada

Trad climbers tackling flared or irregular cracks will appreciate the Wild Country Offset Zero 0.5/0.75. This spring-loaded camming device (SLCD) is engineered for placements where standard cams won't fit, thanks to its offset lobe design. The camming range spans 19.2 to 30.7 mm, making it ideal for pin scars, pods, and shallow seams. A flexible single stem and ergonomic thumb loop allow precise placement even in awkward positions.

Why choose it

The Offset Zero excels in flared cracks and pin scars where parallel-sided cams struggle. Its offset lobes provide a more secure bite on non-parallel rock, reducing the chance of walking or popping. The hot forged aluminium lobes are light yet durable, and the Dyneema sling is strong and low-stretch. The ergonomic thumb loop and trigger bar enable one-handed placement and removal, even with gloves on. With a 9 kN MBS, it meets rigorous safety standards for trad and aid climbing.

Ideal use cases

• Trad climbing on flared cracks and pin scars
• Aid climbing where precise, offset placements are needed
• Alpine climbing on variable rock features
• Building anchors in irregular cracks

Good to know

The sling is extendable to reduce rope drag and can be replaced if worn. Always inspect the device before use, checking for cracks, deformation, or frayed slings. Store in a cool, dry place away from chemicals. The blue colour coding helps quickly identify the size on your harness.
