The ZT421 is engineered for demanding environments. Its bi-fold metal cover and robust construction stand up to knocks, while the colour touch display simplifies setup and status monitoring. With Link-OS, you can manage the printer remotely, integrate with existing systems, and keep firmware up to date with minimal effort.

Ideal use cases

• Shipping and receiving labels in logistics hubs
• Product identification and barcode labels on manufacturing lines
• Asset tagging and inventory management in retail back rooms
• Compliance labelling in healthcare and laboratories

Good to know

The ZT421 supports both direct thermal and thermal transfer media, giving you flexibility for short-lived shipping labels or long-lasting chemical-resistant tags. Dual media sensors (transmissive and reflective) ensure accurate label positioning, and the large media capacity reduces downtime in high-volume operations.
