3M Dual Lock fecho de velcro SJ3550F branco 25,4 mm x 1 m adesivo acrílico 7100151504

Traditional hook-and-loop fasteners often fail under vibration, moisture, or repeated use, leaving panels loose and assemblies unreliable. The 3M Dual Lock Reclosable Fastener SJ3550F solves this by using interlocking polypropylene stems that snap together for a secure, rigid bond. With up to 5 times the holding strength of conventional hook-and-loop, this white, 25.4 mm wide, 1-meter long tape is ideal for demanding indoor and outdoor applications where a strong, re-enterable connection is required.

Who is it for

This fastener is for professionals and DIYers who need a high-strength, removable mounting solution. It is suitable for attaching panels, signs, access doors, and electronic components to metals, glass, many plastics, and powder-coated paints. It is not intended for low surface energy plastics like polyethylene or polypropylene.

Main features

• Type 250 stem density (250 stems per square inch) provides a firm, positive engagement.
• Acrylic adhesive offers excellent adhesion to a wide range of substrates and resists UV and moisture.
• Engaged thickness of 5.8 mm when mated, allowing for a low-profile yet strong bond.
• Withstands continuous temperatures from -29°C to 93°C and short-term exposure up to 121°C.
• Re-engagement up to 1,000 cycles, making it suitable for applications requiring repeated access.
• Clear polyethylene film liner protects the adhesive until application.

Tips

For best adhesion, clean the surface with isopropyl alcohol and allow it to dry before applying the tape. Apply firm pressure for a few seconds to ensure full contact. The bond strength increases over time, reaching ultimate strength after 72 hours. To disengage, peel from one edge; the fastener can be re-engaged multiple times without significant loss of strength.
