Access point exterior ALLNET ALL-WB100AXF-1200 WiFi6 AX1200 Dual Band

The ALLNET ALL-WB100AXF-1200 Outdoor Access Point is a dual-band WiFi6 (802.11ax) device engineered for external deployment. It delivers concurrent 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz wireless connectivity with AX1200 aggregate throughput and supports Wi-Fi 6 features to improve capacity, efficiency and multi-client performance. The unit is intended to extend wireless coverage in outdoor environments such as public spaces, campuses and industrial sites while maintaining stable connections for client devices.

Advantages

The outdoor-rated enclosure protects internal components against weather exposure and allows permanent installation on poles or walls. Wi-Fi 6 technology reduces congestion and increases per-client throughput in dense scenarios, while dual-band operation ensures compatibility with a wide range of devices. The access point is designed for continuous outdoor operation and integrates into existing wired networks to expand coverage without requiring major infrastructure changes.

Suitable for

• Public outdoor areas (parks, plazas, transit stops)
• Educational campuses and university grounds
• Industrial and commercial outdoor sites
• Outdoor hospitality zones and event venues

Key specifications

• Wireless standard: Wi-Fi 6 (IEEE 802.11ax)
• Frequency bands: 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz dual-band operation
• Aggregate data rate class: AX1200
• Outdoor-rated housing for weather resistance
• Mounting options: pole and wall mounting capability
• Designed for multi-client environments and high-density usage

How to use

Mount the access point in a suitable outdoor location with clear line of sight to the intended coverage area, using the supplied mounting brackets for pole or wall installation. Connect the device to the wired network using the Ethernet uplink and, if supported, power it via PoE according to the network design. Configure wireless SSIDs, security settings and radio parameters through the management interface or controller platform per site requirements. Verify signal coverage and adjust orientation or placement as needed to achieve the desired performance.

Recommendations

Install the unit at a height that minimizes obstructions, allow for proper cable sealing and grounding, and follow local regulations for outdoor equipment. For dense client environments, enable Wi‑Fi 6 features and plan channel allocation to reduce interference. Regularly inspect mounts and seals to preserve weather protection.
