Acessório para cabos Rittal 4050.738 — acessório de pontas de fio com código de cores DIN

Rittal 4050.738 is a cable accessory designed for use in electrical wiring and control cabinet installations. It provides DIN-style color-coded ferrule sleeves that allow clear conductor identification and secure crimped terminations. The product is intended to support reliable cable end preparation and consistent connections in industrial and commercial electrical panels.

Advantages

The color-coded DIN ferrule sleeves simplify circuit identification and reduce wiring errors by providing a visual system for grouping and recognizing conductors. Made to fit standard ferrule crimping tools, the accessory promotes uniform crimp quality and reduces the risk of stray strands and poor contact. Its design supports repeated, consistent application in panel building and electrical installation workflows.

Suitable for

When it may not be suitable

This accessory is specific to DIN-style ferrule systems with color coding and may not be compatible with non-DIN or proprietary ferrule designs. It is intended for use on conductors that match the ferrule size system; using these sleeves on significantly undersized or oversized conductors can produce unreliable crimps.

Key specifications

How to use

Strip the conductor to the recommended length for the corresponding ferrule size, insert the conductor fully into the ferrule sleeve, and crimp using an appropriate ferrule crimping tool ensuring a secure, compact termination. Verify that no stray strands are visible and that the ferrule is seated correctly for a reliable connection. Use the color code to document and maintain consistent conductor identification across the installation.

What to consider before purchase

Recommendations

Use the Rittal DIN color-coded ferrule sleeves with the correct crimping die for the ferrule size, follow local wiring codes for conductor preparation, and keep a consistent color plan in documentation to reduce installation errors and speed maintenance tasks.
