Powered by your KitchenAid stand mixer
Are you wondering how to make ice cream at home with an ice cream maker? You can become an instant expert with this ice cream maker attachment. It fits most tilt-head and bowl-lift stand mixers and replaces the usual mixer bowl and beater. You’ll find the redesigned assembly easily connects to the stand mixer to quickly start churning your favourite recipes right away.

Fast frozen treats in under 30 minutes (excluding prep time)
Yes, it really is that quick! Just remember to put the ice cream maker bowl in the freezer in plenty of time (at least 16 hours or overnight), and you can make your favourite ice creams in less than half an hour.

We’ve also improved the design to make sure the bowl stays colder, for longer so you have more time to create the thick and creamy texture you’re after. The generous 1.9 L bowl means you can make enough of that deliciousness to share.

Yummy! It’s ice cream time
You’re just 30 minutes* away from heavenly frozen goodies with our new and improved ice cream maker. *Excluding prep time

Dasher for fast, thorough mixing and creamier results
No more grainy, gritty ice cream with this clever ice cream maker. When you’re making ice cream, the faster the mix freezes, the smaller the ice crystals, and the smoother and creamier the results. During churning, the dasher of our ice cream maker rotates to quickly and thoroughly mix, for fast, even freezing. It spreads and scrapes the tiny ice crystals off the walls of the frozen bowl, and incorporates air, to create that thick and dreamy smooth texture.

Easy to clean after the fun
Let’s face it, cleaning up is no one’s favourite thing to do. That’s why we’ve made it as easy as possible. The dasher and the drive assembly are safe to put in the top rack of the dishwasher, and once the freeze bowl has reached room temperature, it can be washed in warm, soapy water. Then you’re all ready for next time.

Experiment with easy and wonderful recipes
Ice cream isn’t just for kids. It can be as cool and sophisticated or as bold and experimental as you like. Here are just a few ideas to get your taste buds going.

How to use

Place the freeze bowl in your freezer for at least 16 hours until completely frozen. Prepare your ice cream batter in advance, keeping the volume to about 1.4 L or less. Mount the freeze bowl on the stand mixer (stand mixer sold separately), then attach the drive assembly and the dasher. Pour the batter into the bowl and churn on speed 1 for 20 to 30 minutes until the mixture reaches the desired consistency. Serve immediately in dessert dishes or transfer to an airtight container and freeze for later use.

Recommendations

For best results, pre-chill your batter ingredients and ensure the freeze bowl is fully frozen for at least 16 hours. Use the recommended batter volume (up to 1.4 L) to allow proper churning and aeration. Clean the dasher and drive assembly on the top rack of the dishwasher and wash the freeze bowl by hand once it has warmed to room temperature.
