Alicate de corte diagonal Knipex 74 02 200 SB – 200 mm, punhos confortáveis isolados

Knipex Side Cutter 74 02 200 SB — 200 mm insulated comfort grips is a precision side-cutting plier engineered for reliable, everyday use in electrical, mechanical and general workshop tasks. The 200 mm length balances accessibility and control for cutting wires, small pins and similar materials. The insulated comfort grips provide a secure hold and reduce hand fatigue during repeated operations while the robust steel construction delivers consistent cutting performance and long service life.

Advantages

The pliers combine compact dimensions with high-cutting performance, enabling accurate cuts in confined spaces. Comfort grips improve handling stability and reduce slippage under load. The hardened cutting edges maintain sharpness through repeated use and the solid joint ensures precise alignment of the cutting blades. The tool is designed for routine workshop tasks where durability and repeatable results are required.

Suitable for

• Cutting insulated and uninsulated copper and aluminium wires
• Removing small pins, nails and rivets
• Trim and finishing work in electrical installations
• General workshop maintenance and light mechanical repairs

Key specifications

• Overall length: 200 mm
• Tool type: side-cutting pliers (diagonal cutter)
• Handle: insulated comfort grips for improved ergonomics
• Cutting edges: hardened and precision ground for long cut life
• Joint type: solid riveted joint for stable blade alignment
• Material: high-grade tool steel for wear resistance

How to use

Position the plier jaws around the workpiece close to the intended cut point. Apply steady pressure on the handles until the cutting edges pass through the material. For best results on electrical conductors, ensure the correct wire routing and cut at a right angle to avoid fraying. Keep fingers clear of the cutting area and maintain a firm grip on the insulated handles throughout the operation.

Recommendations

Use the tool within its intended capacity: avoid cutting hardened steel, large bolts or materials that exceed the recommended diameter. Inspect cutting edges regularly and replace or re-sharpen if dull. Store in a dry place to prevent corrosion and follow standard safety practices such as wearing eye protection during cutting operations.
