ALLNET NAS-N355 Mini-PC Intel Core 3 N355 16GB DDR5 256GB SSD 2x2.5GbE NAS

Running a small office or home server often means choosing between a bulky desktop and an underpowered single-board computer. The ALLNET NAS-N355 Mini PC solves that dilemma by packing a quad-core Intel Processor N355, 16GB of DDR5 memory, and dual 2.5GbE networking into a compact, fanless aluminum chassis. It delivers responsive file sharing, media streaming, and light virtualization without the noise or footprint of traditional hardware.

Who is it for

This mini PC is ideal for home users, small businesses, and IT enthusiasts who need a reliable always-on NAS or edge server. It suits those running file servers, media centers, Docker containers, or lightweight virtual machines. Its low power consumption and silent operation make it perfect for living rooms, offices, or anywhere noise is a concern.

Main features

• Intel Processor N355 (4 cores, 4 threads, up to 3.9 GHz burst) for efficient multitasking.
• 16GB DDR5 SO-DIMM memory (single slot, max 16GB) ensures smooth operation under load.
• 256GB NVMe SSD pre-installed for fast boot and application loading; additional M.2 and SATA slots for expansion.
• Dual 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports (Intel i226-V) enable link aggregation, failover, or multi-network segmentation.
• Fanless aluminum alloy chassis dissipates heat silently, ideal for 24/7 operation.
• Versatile I/O: HDMI 2.0, 2x USB 3.2 Gen 2, 2x USB 2.0, and audio jack for peripherals.
• Supports VESA mounting to save desk space or hide behind a monitor.

Tips

For a turnkey NAS, install a lightweight Linux distribution like OpenMediaVault or TrueNAS Scale. Use both 2.5GbE ports in link aggregation mode with a managed switch to double throughput for multiple clients. Add a 2.5" SATA SSD or HDD for bulk storage expansion. The fanless design requires adequate airflow, so avoid enclosing it in tight cabinets.
