EK-Quantum Torque Compression Ring 6-Pack STC 16 - Green is a machined aluminium compression ring designed to be used with EK-Quantum Torque STC 10/16 and 12/16 fittings. This product is not a standalone fitting: the rings are intended to be mounted onto an existing Torque fitting barb and work together with the fitting and an optional coloured aesthetic ring to secure flexible tubing in liquid-cooling loops.

Advantages

The compression ring compresses the tubing wall beneath it to prevent the flexible tube from being pulled off the fitting barb. Grooves on the outer surface provide improved grip for easier hand tightening. The ring features cutouts in the EK-Quantum signature shape so a separately sold coloured aesthetic ring can remain visible. How to use

Place the coloured aesthetic ring (if used) onto the fitting first, then slide the compression ring over the tube and onto the fitting barb. Push the tube fully onto the barb, position the compression ring so it sits evenly over the tubing wall, and hand-tighten the ring using the external grooves for grip. Ensure the tubing is seated correctly and that the ring compresses the tube wall to prevent accidental disconnection.

Recommendations

Use only with compatible EK-Quantum Torque STC 10/16 or 12/16 fittings. Do not attempt to use the compression ring as a standalone fitting. Inspect rings and tubing for wear or damage before reuse and tighten by hand only; avoid over-tightening with tools.
