How to use

Mount the antenna on a compatible scanner or receiver using the device's external antenna connector or an appropriate adapter. Position the antenna to achieve the best line-of-sight toward the signal source; for mobile use, place it where it will not be obstructed by metal parts. Adjust orientation and location while monitoring signal strength to find the best reception. Handle the flexible element gently to avoid kinking.

Recommendations

For optimal reception, install the antenna as high and clear of obstructions as practical and avoid close proximity to large metal surfaces or strong RF sources. Use suitable coaxial cable and connectors matched to your receiver to minimize signal loss.
