The Extralink 6U 600x600 ASP Gray wall-mounted rack cabinet is intended for mounting on walls in offices, network server rooms and CCTV control rooms. Constructed from cold-rolled steel sheet with a solid metal door that can be hinged to open left or right, the cabinet provides a compact 6U internal mounting space and a total height of 370 mm. Rack rails are included and the cabinet supports installation of equipment while keeping wiring routed through dedicated conduit openings. Locks and keys are supplied for basic access control.

How to use

Mount the cabinet securely to a suitable wall structure using appropriate fasteners for the wall material and the cabinet’s load. Install the included vertical rails at the required U positions, then mount network devices, patch panels or DVR/NVR equipment into the 6U space using standard 19" rack mounting hardware. Route cables through the designated conduit openings and, if needed, fit fans to the two top mounting positions to improve ventilation. Use the supplied locks and keys to restrict access.

Recommendations

Ensure the wall and fasteners can support the cabinet plus the intended equipment weight (up to 60 kg). Leave clearance for airflow and cable access; if devices generate significant heat, install fans and monitor internal temperature. Use ESD-safe procedures when installing sensitive electronics.
