LANBERG FF01-6822-23B is a freestanding 22U rack cabinet for mounting 19" network and server equipment. With external dimensions of 1159×600×800 mm and IP20 protection, this black steel cabinet provides a sturdy enclosure for switches, patch panels, servers and other rack-mount devices. The cabinet includes adjustable 19" rails, castor wheels for mobility and a key lock for basic physical security. Designed for data closets, server rooms and network installations, the FF01-6822-23B balances usable depth and compact footprint to optimize floor space while supporting typical IT equipment sizes.

Advantages

The cabinet is constructed from cold-rolled steel with a net weight of approximately 61 kg, delivering stable support and long-term durability. Adjustable front and rear 19" mounting rails allow flexible device positioning. Mobility is provided by castor wheels that simplify placement and relocation during installation or maintenance. A keyed lock on the door offers fundamental access control. The cabinet’s IP20 rating and ventilated top help maintain air circulation for passive airflow and provide protection in controlled indoor environments. Flat-pack packaging simplifies transport and storage prior to on-site assembly.

Place equipment into the cabinet from the front or rear as appropriate, securing each device to the rails with compatible rack screws. Connect grounding as indicated in the manual before powering equipment. Use the castor wheels to move the assembled cabinet into position, and lock the wheels once the cabinet is placed to prevent unintended movement.

Recommendations

Install the cabinet in a climate-controlled indoor environment consistent with the IP20 protection level. Plan rack depth usage to keep cable routing and airflow unobstructed; leave free space above equipment for ventilation and consider adding active fans if higher heat loads are expected. Fasten heavy devices lower in the cabinet to maintain stability, and ensure the cabinet is properly grounded before connecting powered equipment.
