Slim and Ergonomic Design
The UltraBoard 950 V2’s compact design promotes a healthier working posture by eliminating the traditional numeric keypad, thus reducing the distance to the mouse. This design minimizes physical strain on the forearm and shoulder. The integrated number field can be accessed via the NumLock key for convenience.
Ergonomic background
A compact keyboard without the numeric keypad, which allows placing the mouse closer to the keyboard. Research shows that 90% of users use the numeric keypad rarely, or never. With a compact keyboard you work more comfortably, because it lowers the reaching distance to the mouse (Cook C. et al., 1998). This lightens the load on the forearms and shoulder. Dark letters on a clear background make reading easier (ISO 9241) and contribute to higher productivity (Snyder, 1990).
Reflective-Free Design
The matt surface of the UltraBoard 950 V2, combined with its light colour and dark letters, minimizes reflections and improves readability. The fold-out yellow feet provide an optimal viewing angle for those who do not use the ten-finger typing system. The stylish design enhances both usability and productivity.
Comfortable and Quiet Typing Experience
The UltraBoard 950 V2 features a scissor mechanism that offers a comfortable, quiet typing experience with less force needed to press the keys. This design maintains the tactile feedback of the keys, ensuring an efficient typing experience with minimal pressure.
Portability
Weighing only 430 grams and measuring 285mm x 147mm x 19mm, the UltraBoard 950 V2 is highly portable. It comes with a protective textile cover, making it easy to carry whether you are working from home, in a café, or on a train.
Optimized Key Design
The keys of the UltraBoard 950 V2 are designed with a 19mm key center distance according to DIN EN ISO standards, offering better orientation. The concave shape of the keys fits perfectly to the fingertips, while the convex space bar enhances precision and minimizes typing errors.
Comprehensive Functionality
The UltraBoard 950 V2 includes four practical hotkeys for quick access to browser tabs, emails, screenshots, and the integrated numeric keypad. Multimedia keys and status LEDs further enhance the functionality, showing power status and NumLock or CapsLock activation.
