Barco Amewi Blue Barracuda V2

The Amewi Blue Barracuda V2 is an electric RC model boat built for hobbyists and beginners aged 8 and up. Designed for quick assembly and immediate use, the model combines a compact 411 g chassis with a high-capacity 1100 mAh Lithium‑Ion battery to deliver engaging run times on ponds, pools or calm lakes. The hull design and lightweight construction make the boat responsive to steering inputs while remaining stable in typical recreational water conditions.

Advantages

The model’s Lithium‑Ion power source provides longer runtime compared with smaller batteries of the same class, while the low overall weight improves acceleration and handling. A simple, user-friendly control layout reduces the learning curve for newcomers and allows more experienced users to focus on maneuvering. The colour scheme in white, blue and black makes the boat easy to spot on the water.

Suitable for

• Recreational use on ponds, pools and small lakes
• Beginners learning RC boat control and basic maintenance
• Experienced hobbyists practising handling and short-distance racing
• Indoor testing in large pools or controlled water tanks

Key specifications

• Power source: Lithium‑Ion rechargeable battery, 1100 mAh
• Weight: 0.411 kg
• Colours: White, Blue, Black
• Drive system: electric propulsion suitable for calm water operation
• Recommended minimum user age: 8 years

How to use

Charge the included Lithium‑Ion battery fully before first use according to the manufacturer’s charging instructions. Fit the battery into the battery compartment and secure the hatch to preserve waterproofing. Switch on the transmitter and then the boat, perform a brief range and control check on land, then place the boat in calm water. Use gradual throttle and steering inputs to learn response characteristics; avoid full throttle in choppy or crowded areas. After use, remove the battery for charging or storage and rinse the hull with fresh water if used in outdoor environments to remove debris.

Recommendations

Operate the Amewi Blue Barracuda V2 in calm water conditions and within visual line of sight. Regularly inspect the hull and moving parts for debris, and follow safe battery handling and charging practices to ensure long-term performance.
