The Bosch GSR 12V-32 Professional is a compact, battery-powered cordless pistol-grip drill designed for drilling and screwdriving in confined spaces. Powered by a 12 V battery and weighing approximately 700 g, this tool combines portability with basic power and control. It features a keyless chuck with a working range of 0.8–10 mm, adjustable speed and torque settings, and a built-in light to illuminate work areas. Advantages

The keyless chuck enables quick bit changes without additional tools and supports a range of bit sizes up to 10 mm. Its compact pistol-grip design and low weight improve handling in tight or overhead positions. Adjustable speed and torque allow control for delicate screwdriving as well as light drilling operations. The built-in light enhances visibility in poorly lit areas, while the 12 V battery operation provides cordless convenience and portability for site work and indoor tasks.

Suitable for

• Assembly and furniture installation in confined spaces
• Light drilling in wood, plastic and thin metal sheets
• Screwdriving tasks for cabinetry, fittings and fixtures
• Maintenance and repair work in workshops and on-site

How to use

Ensure the battery is charged and correctly inserted before operation. Select an appropriate drill or screwdriver bit and secure it in the keyless chuck by hand-turning until it is firmly clamped. Choose the correct speed and torque setting for the material and fastener to avoid overdriving or stripping. Position the drill perpendicular to the work surface, start at low speed to align the hole or fastener, then increase speed as needed. Use the built-in light when working in dim conditions. After use, remove the battery for storage and clean the chuck and exterior to remove dust and debris.

Recommendations

For best results, pair the drill with Bosch 12 V batteries and chargers that match the tool’s specifications. Use appropriate bits for the material—wood bits for timber, masonry bits for light concrete only when compatible, and metal bits for thin sheet metal. When working in tight spaces, use short bits to improve control. Regularly check and maintain the keyless chuck to ensure secure clamping and follow safety guidance such as wearing eye protection and securing workpieces.
