Cabo ótico ativo CBO SFP28-AOC-3M 3 m SFP28 AOC para ligações de 25Gb/s

CBO SFP28-AOC-3M is a 3 m Active Optical Cable (AOC) engineered for 25Gb/s links between SFP28 ports. The pre-terminated duplex design integrates optical transceivers and multimode fiber into a single low-power assembly, intended for short-reach interconnects in servers, switches and storage arrays. By combining optics and cable in one component, it reduces connection complexity and cable management in data center and enterprise rack environments.

Advantages

The 3 m SFP28 AOC provides low latency, stable signal integrity and reduced power consumption compared with separate transceiver plus patch-cord solutions. Its factory-terminated connectors eliminate field termination, simplifying installation and minimizing human error. Compact and lightweight construction improves airflow and rack organization while maintaining compliance with SFP28 port form-factor electrical and mechanical specifications.

Suitable for

• Short-reach server-to-switch connections within racks
• Top-of-rack and end-of-row switch interconnects
• Storage array links and fabric uplinks requiring 25Gb/s bandwidth
• High-density data center cabling where lower power and simplified management are desired

Key specifications

• Data rate: 25 Gigabits per second
• Connector interface: SFP28 duplex
• Cable type: Active optical cable with integrated transceiver
• Length: 3 meters
• Reach: short-reach applications within racks and across adjacent racks
• Power: low-power optical transceiver design for reduced energy consumption
• Compatibility: designed for SFP28 ports supporting 25Gb/s operation

How to use

Insert each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 port on your network devices until it clicks to ensure proper mechanical engagement. Verify that the link LEDs or management interface indicate an active 25Gb/s connection. No additional transceivers or fiber patch cords are required; the cable is factory-terminated and hot-pluggable. When removing the cable, press the latch on the SFP28 housing and pull straight out to avoid damaging the port.

Recommendations

Use the 3 m AOC for direct, short-reach connections in the same rack or adjacent racks. Avoid tight bends near the connector assembly and maintain bend radii recommended for optical cables. Ensure firmware and hardware on both endpoints support 25Gb/s SFP28 operation and consult device compatibility lists if available.
