Transceptor de fibra ótica SFP CBO SFP-1G-EX 1G monomodo 1310nm

CBO SFP-1G-EX is a 1G SFP fiber optic transceiver designed for single-mode links using a 1310 nm wavelength. It provides a compact hot-pluggable interface for 1 Gigabit Ethernet and compatible networking equipment. The module supports long-distance fiber connections between switches, routers and media converters, enabling reliable link extension and straightforward module replacement without powering down equipment.

Advantages

The transceiver combines a small form-factor pluggable design with single-mode optics to deliver stable 1 Gbps data transmission over extended distances. Its hot-swappable nature reduces maintenance time and allows quick upgrades or replacements. The use of a 1310 nm wavelength optimizes performance for long-reach single-mode fiber while maintaining compatibility with standard SFP ports on network devices.

Suitable for

• Extending Ethernet links between switches over single-mode fiber
• Connecting routers and media converters in campus or metropolitan networks
• Replacing faulty or upgrading existing SFP modules in 1G network equipment

Key specifications

• Data rate: 1 Gbps
• Fiber type: single-mode
• Operating wavelength: 1310 nm
• Form factor: SFP (small form-factor pluggable), hot-pluggable
• Supported link: long-distance single-mode fiber links
• Interface: duplex fiber connector (LC-compatible)

How to use

Insert the SFP transceiver into an available SFP slot on the network device until it locks in place, then connect the single-mode fiber cable using an LC duplex connector. Ensure the device is configured for 1 Gbps operation and that link parameters match on both ends. For most installations the module is recognized automatically; verify link status via the device management interface and adjust settings if necessary.

Recommendations

Store and handle the transceiver in a clean, dust-free environment and keep dust caps on fiber connectors when not in use. Use single-mode fiber with appropriate attenuation and distance planning for 1310 nm operation, and follow vendor guidelines for ESD protection during installation.
