How to use

To open the blade, operate the automatic mechanism with a single hand until the blade fully locks into position. Verify the locking mechanism is engaged before use to ensure safe cutting. After completing tasks, close the blade by releasing the lock according to the handle’s mechanism and fold the blade into the handle until it is fully seated. Regularly inspect the pivot and locking surfaces and keep the blade clean and dry to maintain reliable operation.

Recommendations

Use the Böker Plus Kihon Auto Stonewash for general-purpose cutting within its intended capacity; avoid prying, heavy-duty chopping, or levering which can damage the blade or locking mechanism. Clean and lightly oil the pivot and locking interface periodically, and sharpen the AUS8 blade with suitable stones or sharpening tools to restore cutting performance.
