Bosch T 144 DF Speed lâminas de serra de vaivém para madeira dura

The Bosch T 144 DF Speed for Hard Wood jigsaw blade is designed for fast, straight cuts in hardwood and other solid wooden materials. Constructed as a bi-metal (BIM) blade, it combines a fully hardened HSS tooth strip with a flexible HCS body to balance cutting durability and resistance to breakage. The blade features a large progressive tooth pitch of 4–5.2 mm and is suitable for cutting wood thicknesses from 5 to 50 mm. It is made for jigsaws with a T-shank clamping system.

Advantages

The T 144 DF Speed offers fast, straight cutting performance due to its sharp-ground, side-set teeth and progressive tooth pitch. The bi-metal construction with an HSS tooth strip bonded to an HCS body provides improved wear resistance on hard and abrasive woodworking materials while retaining flexibility to reduce the risk of tooth breakage. Compatibility with T-shank jigsaws ensures simple and secure blade changes.

How to use

Install the blade into a compatible jigsaw with a T-shank clamping system following the tool manufacturer's instructions and secure it before switching the tool on. Mark the cutting line on the workpiece and clamp the workpiece to prevent movement. Use steady feed speed and avoid forcing the blade; allow the jigsaw and blade to do the cutting. For the best straight cuts in hardwood, keep the baseplate flat on the workpiece and guide the saw along the marked line with light, consistent pressure.

Recommendations

Use the T 144 DF Speed blade for straight-through cuts in hardwood and solid wood within the specified thickness range. Replace the blade when cutting becomes slower, the teeth show visible wear, or chipping appears on the cut surfaces. Ensure the jigsaw's speed and feed rate are appropriate for the wood species to minimize burning or splintering.
