Broca Bosch SDS max-4 2608685864

SDS max-4 Drill Bits

Advantages

The Bosch SDS max-4 drill bit features a four-cutter head and a 2-flute U-shaped body that together provide extended service life and reliable dust removal during drilling. Its carbide tip construction enhances wear resistance for sustained performance in concrete and masonry. The SDS max shank ensures quick and secure bit changes in compatible rotary hammers.

Suitable for

• Heavy-duty drilling in reinforced and plain concrete
• Masonry drilling in brick, block and stone
• Professional construction and renovation projects requiring durable SDS max bits

Key specifications

• Head type: four-cutter design
• Flute design: 2-flute U-shape for improved dust evacuation
• Tip material: carbide for increased wear resistance
• Shank type: SDS max
• Intended materials: concrete and masonry

How to use

Fit the Bosch SDS max-4 bit into an SDS max-compatible rotary hammer according to the tool manufacturer’s instructions. Use appropriate drilling mode and speed for concrete or masonry, applying steady pressure without forcing the bit. Periodically withdraw the bit to clear debris and allow cooling; replace the bit if the carbide tip shows significant wear or damage.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment (safety glasses, hearing protection and dust mask) and follow site safety rules. For reinforced concrete, use the SDS max-4 geometry to reduce jamming when encountering rebar, and consider starting with a pilot hole for large diameters.
