Broca Bosch SDS max-4 2608685867

SDS max-4 Drill Bits by Bosch (model 2608685867) are designed for drilling in concrete and masonry with SDS max rotary hammers. The bit features a four-cutter head and a U-shaped 2-flute design for improved lifetime, reliable rebar-cutting performance and efficient dust evacuation. Constructed with a wear-resistant carbide tip, the bit is intended for heavy-duty construction and renovation tasks requiring durable, compatible SDS max accessories.

Advantages

The four-cutter geometry reduces jamming when encountering rebar and distributes cutting forces for prolonged tool life. The U-shaped 2-flute profile improves removal of drilling debris and contributes to longer service life. A highly durable carbide composition increases wear resistance during extended use in concrete and masonry. The SDS max shank ensures compatibility with SDS max rotary hammers.

How to use

Select an appropriate diameter and insert the Bosch SDS max-4 bit into the SDS max chuck until it locks. Use a rotary hammer with the recommended speed and impact settings for concrete or masonry. Apply steady axial pressure without forcing the bit; allow the tool to perform cutting and impact action. Periodically withdraw the bit to clear dust and debris for continued efficient drilling and to avoid overheating the tip.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment (eye protection, hearing protection and dust mask) and follow the rotary hammer manufacturer's guidance. Replace the bit when excessive wear or tip damage is visible to maintain safe and efficient performance.
