Broca de martelo Bosch 1 618 596 321

The Bosch 1 618 596 321 hammer drill bit is made for use with rotary hammers and intended for drilling into hard materials. With a diameter of 2 cm, this single-piece bit is built to withstand heavy-duty applications while maintaining drilling accuracy. The design focuses on reliable penetration and sustained performance during repeated use in masonry, concrete and similar substrates.

Advantages

The one-piece construction increases strength and reduces the risk of breakage under high-impact loads. A 2 cm diameter delivers a fast removal rate for larger holes while keeping the bore aligned and precise. Compatibility with rotary hammers ensures efficient energy transfer from the tool to the bit, improving drilling speed and reducing user effort. The hardened tip and robust shank are designed for extended service life in demanding conditions.

Suitable for

• Drilling holes in concrete and reinforced concrete
• Creating openings for anchors and dowels in masonry
• Heavy-duty renovation and construction tasks
• Professional trade use and advanced DIY projects

Key specifications

• Type: hammer drill bit for rotary hammers
• Diameter: 20 mm
• Construction: single-piece (solid) design
• Material: hardened steel tip and reinforced shank
• Intended materials: concrete, masonry, stone

How to use

Install the drill bit into the rotary hammer according to the tool manufacturer's instructions, ensuring it is securely locked in the chuck or SDS holder. Select hammer mode and an appropriate rotation speed for the material. Begin drilling with steady pressure, allowing the tool to perform the work rather than forcing the bit. Periodically withdraw the bit to clear dust and debris from the hole, which helps maintain drilling efficiency and prevents overheating. Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, ear protection and dust mask when drilling.

Recommendations

For best results, use the Bosch 20 mm hammer drill bit with a rotary hammer that supports SDS-plus or the corresponding chuck type recommended by the manufacturer. Match drill speed and hammering rate to the hardness of the material, and replace the bit if wear visibly reduces cutting performance or if the tip becomes deformed.
