Brunidor de cilindros ks tools 150.1180 — diâmetro 18–63 mm, conjunto de brunidores flexíveis

The ks tools Cylinder Hone Tool 150.1180 is a flexible honing rod set with an adjustable working diameter ranging from 18 to 63 mm. It is designed to restore and improve the internal finish of bores in engine cylinders, hydraulic cylinders and various mechanical parts. The tool provides controlled material removal and produces an even surface profile and crosshatch pattern that supports sealing performance and lubrication retention.

Advantages

The flexible honing rod enables uniform contact with the bore wall, reducing the risk of creating high spots or uneven surfaces. The adjustable diameter covers a wide range of common bore sizes, eliminating the need for multiple fixed-size hones. The construction allows consistent removal of glazing, light scoring and minor imperfections while producing a repeatable crosshatch angle that aids oil retention and sealing. Designed for workshop use, the tool balances durability with ease of handling.

Suitable for

• Honing and finishing engine cylinders during rebuilds and maintenance
• Refinishing hydraulic and pneumatic cylinder bores
• Restoring roundness and surface texture on mechanical bushings and sleeves
• Preparing bores for new piston rings or seals

Key specifications

• Adjustable working diameter: 18–63 mm
• Tool type: flexible honing rod set
• Application: internal bore honing and finishing
• Typical results: even material removal and crosshatch surface pattern
• Intended environment: workshop and maintenance use

How to use

Secure the workpiece or cylinder to prevent movement. Select an appropriate rotation speed and insert the flexible honing rod into the bore, expanding it to match the nominal diameter. Apply moderate pressure and run the hone in a controlled reciprocal motion or with rotation as recommended for your setup, ensuring even contact across the entire bore length. Periodically withdraw the tool to clear swarf and inspect the surface until the desired finish and roundness are achieved. Finish with proper cleaning to remove abrasive particles and apply lubrication or assembly fluids as required.

Recommendations

Use suitable honing stones or abrasives compatible with the material being worked on and select a rotation speed and feed consistent with manufacturer practices. Avoid excessive pressure that could remove too much material or alter bore geometry. After honing, verify dimensions and surface pattern before installing rings or seals.
