Cabo de extensão ACT azul 2 metros LSZH S/FTP CAT6A MPTL com proteção das patilhas de retenção fichas RJ45

The ACT Blue 2 meters LSZH S/FTP CAT6A MPTL extension cable with snagless RJ45 connectors is designed to extend a fixed network link — for example from a camera or access point to a consolidation point — while remaining compliant with MPTL ANSI/TIA-568.2-D. The 2 m cable features full copper 26 AWG conductors, S/FTP shielding, 50 µ gold-plated RJ‑45 contacts and a dust cover. Its LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket reduces the risk of toxic gases in the event of fire or cable damage.

Advantages

This MPTL extension cable can be fully included in the permanent link and keeps the link ANSI/TIA-568.2-D compliant, unlike RJ45 couplers. The S/FTP shielding and full copper 26 AWG conductors support high-speed CAT6A performance, while gold-plated contacts improve contact reliability and corrosion resistance. The snagless RJ45 design protects the connector latch during installation and the LSZH jacket limits smoke and halogen emissions.

Suitable for

• Extending network feeds for IP cameras
• Extending connections for wireless access points
• Creating a modular plug terminated link (MPTL) in structured cabling
• Short patch extensions in data closets or plenum spaces

Key specifications

• Standard: ANSI/TIA-568.2-D MPTL compliant
• Cable type: S/FTP (shielded foiled pairs with overall braid)
• Conductor: solid copper, 26 AWG
• Length: 2 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, snagless, 50 µ gold-plated contacts
• Jacket: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
• Color: Blue

How to use

Plug one RJ‑45 connector into the device (camera, access point or patch panel) and the other into the consolidation point or permanent link endpoint. Ensure connectors are fully seated and the latch is engaged. When installing in plenum or low-smoke spaces, route the cable according to building regulations and avoid sharp bends or excessive tension to preserve performance and compliance.

Recommendations

Use this MPTL extension cable where a permanent-link-compliant modular plug termination is required; avoid using it as a long-span replacement for horizontal cabling. For best performance, keep total channel length within ANSI/TIA limits and maintain proper grounding for shielded installations.
