How to use

Plug the USB-C male connector into the host device (for example a laptop or power adapter) and connect the USB-C female end to the device or cable you want to extend, such as a multiport hub, dock or phone cable. Ensure the connected host and peripheral support the required USB and video modes (for example USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 for 20 Gbit/s or DisplayPort Alternate Mode for video). When charging, use a compatible power adapter and cables rated for the required Power Delivery wattage and current.

Recommendations

Use the cable as an extension only up to the combined maximum extension length of 2 m (cable + extension). Avoid excessive bending near the connector gland and keep connectors clean. For 8K video or maximum data rates, verify that both connected ports and devices support the necessary USB/DP/Thunderbolt modes and that the power source matches the required PD profile.
