Why choose it

Copper USB cables are limited to a few meters at 10 Gbps. This optical extension cable uses fiber for data and copper for power, maintaining full USB 3.2 Gen 2 speed over 10 meters. It is bus-powered, so no extra power adapter is required. The active electronics regenerate the signal, ensuring reliable operation with high-bandwidth devices like 4K cameras, external SSDs, and VR headsets.

Ideal use cases

• Extending USB 3.2 Gen 2 devices in conference rooms or studios
• Connecting machine vision cameras on production lines
• Reaching VR sensors or tracking cameras across a room
• Adding distance to external storage arrays or capture cards

Good to know

The cable is plug and play with any operating system. The hybrid construction provides enhanced EMI/RFI protection on the copper power lines. Connector housings are made of PVC/ABS for durability.
